DAY 1 Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s exciting and comprehensive tour to Egypt-‘The land of Nile’. Enjoy the stunning sound and light show
Today, embark on your exciting tour of Egypt. On arrival in Cairo, you be greeted by your friendly Thomas Cook tour manager / local representative outside the baggage hall. DAY 2 Full day tour of Alexandria
After American breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Alexandria. See the Catacombs of Kon-El-Shokafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Montazah Gradens. DAY 3 Enjoy the sights and sounds of the ancient capital city-Cairo. Live the experience of the land of the pharaohs. Visit the mysterious Sphinx. Later Visit the Egyptian Museum and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar
After an American breakfast at your hotel, we depart on a guided tour of this ancient capital city. On the west bank of the Nile, facing Cairo and on top of the Giza plateau, rise the three Pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus, and guarded by the mysterious sphinx, a mythical statue with a body of a lion and a human head. The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Also see the Cairo tower, one of the more recent landmarks of Cairo rising to a height of 187 meters, the famous Blue Mosque with blue mosaic walls, and the Mari Mina church dating back to the early 5th century. Today enjoy lunch. See the famous Egyptian Museum which houses more than 2, 50,000 antique pieces covering the whole history of ancient Egypt, which extends over the past five thousand years; the most splendid being the collection of Tut Ankh-Amen. Later, you can visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar and the Al Sagha market place were you will come across some interesting jewellery shops or go shopping to pick up souvenirs on your own. DAY 4 Visit the massive Abu Simbel temples - A UNESCO world heritage site. Proceed to Aswan – one of the most beautiful cities of Egypt. Get set for the time of your life as you board your luxurious Nile River cruise
Today enjoy a box breakfast and later proceed to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Proceed to Abu Simbel visit the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel dedicated to Gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as to the deified Rameses. After which we proceed to the Cruise centre to board the luxurious cruise liner – The Nile River Cruise. DAY 5 Enjoy the sights and sounds of Aswan on you city tour. Visit the city sights of Kom Ombo including the magnificent Temple of Two Gods
Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise. We then visit the temple of Philae dedicated to Goddess Isis and then enjoy a guided city tour visiting the High Dam – one of the outstanding architectural achievements of the twentieth century. Later in the day, we proceed to visit the famous ‘Temple of Two Gods’. Dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, the crocodile gods, this temple was constructed during the Roman era and is noted for the engravings on the walls in Kom Ombo. Enjoy meals on board the cruise. DAY 6 Onto Edfu. Visit the temple of Edfu. Sail to the magnificent town of Luxor - “City of Palaces” via Esna Lock
After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we sail to Edfu town situated on the west bank of the river Nile. On arrival, we proceed to the famous Edfu temple dedicated to God Horus, represented by the Falcon. This is one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure that blends Pharoic and Greek architecture. Enjoy the sights of the Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Cruise sails to Luxor via the Esna Lock. Enjoy meals on board the cruise. DAY 7 Marvel at the architectural brilliance of the various temples
After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we visit the famous tombs in the Valley of Kings and also see the temple of Hatshepsut. We then proceed to the Colossi of Memnon, which are the ruins of the funerary tomb of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only queen who ruled Egypt. Enjoy Lunch. After an American breakfast at your hotel, we proceed to the airport, to board the flight to Amman. Welcome to Jordan – ‘the Holy Land’. On arrival at Queen Alia International airport, enjoy Lunch. Later, join us on an unforgettable tour of the city of Amman-one of the oldest cities in the world. Enjoy the cultural experience of the city of seven hills – see the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel and the Amphitheatre. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant. DAY 9 Explore the legendary rose-red city of Petra - The New Wonder of the World & a UNESCO World Heritage Site
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out to on a full day visit of Petra including a short horse ride from entrance till Siq till Qasr Al Benet. Today enjoy lunch. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. DAY 10 Proceed to the Wadi Rum Desert- known as the valley of the moons; enjoy a thrilling jeep tour of Wadi rum

This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. DAY 11 Enjoy an excursion to Dead Sea

DAY 12 Time to say goodbye to the Holy Land
