DAY 1 Hanoi Arriva
Arrival Noi Bai international airport, and transfer to Hotel for check-in. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2 Hanoi – Halong by SIC
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will join other passengers on a pleasant overland journey to Ha Long Bay (around 3.5 hours). On arrival of Ha Long, boarding and the cruise starts with lunch served. Overnight: On board the junk in Ha Long Bay.
DAY 3 Halong - Hanoi by SIC
The morning starts by an early Tai Chi exercise on the upper deck of the junk, followed by a light breakfast. The cruise continues at the same time when brunch is served. After brunch, disembarkation then return transfer to Hanoi. Overnight at Hanoi city.
DAY 4 Hanoi City Tour Full Day – [Flight] – Hue
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at hotel , Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum close on Monday and Friday morning) and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi, continue on to the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist - dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Lunch at local restaurant. PM: After lunch visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam (Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past), Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple. Walking in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Transfer to airport for the flight to Hue. Arrival Phu Bai airport (Hue city), transfer to Hotel for check in. Overnight at Hue city.
DAY 5 Hue World Heritage Site
After breakfast at the hotel, embarkation on a Perfume River cruise to visit ancient relics located on either side of the river, being Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda of Hue. Then you will visit the Royal Citadel on the bank of romantic river where the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam reigned within 140 years. In the afternoon, visit to Emperor Tu Duc’s royal tomb and Khai Dinh’s tomb where the structure of an extraordinary architectural style is displayed. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 6 Hue – Danang – Hoian
After breakfast at the hotel, overland transfer to Hoi An. En route, photo stop on top of the Hai Van Pass (weather permitting) to view the sea and the mountain tops covered with mist. Arrival Hoi An ancient town, Hotel check-in. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 7 Hoian World Heritage Site
Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour to explore the old town that sits on the banks of Thu Bon river. Visit Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Communal House, Thien Hau Temple, and ancient house. PM: Freetime at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 8 Truly Vietnam Life at Tra Que Village
Breakfast at the hotel. Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the every day meals of the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, enjoy cooking class served by host with the local ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll which were primarily made from Tra Que vegetables and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened. Depart from your hotel and ride bicycle in 30 minutes to Tra Que herb village. Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the history of the village. Then join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables. Enjoy foot soak before getting to preparing lunch with a local family. Join cooking with ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll, ‘Banh xeo’ - a local pancake of people in Viet Nam middle region ... After your morning excursions and lunch, you learn how to harvest and wrap the vegetables. Bid farewell to your host family before riding back to your hotel. PM: free and leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 9 Hoian – Danang – [Flight] – Siem Rep
Breakfast at the hotel. Free and leisure till departure. Transfer with Driver only to Danang airport for the flight to Siem Rep. Arrival Siem Rep, meeting with ESG & transfer to Hotel for check in. Overnight in Siem Rep.
DAY 10 Siem Rep – Angkor
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous Bayon, Bapuon, Terrace of Elephants and Leper King and Phimean Akas temples. In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat. Unlike most of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohm has been largely left to the clutches of the living jungle. It shows the dynamic interaction between nature and man-made art. Whereas, the legendary Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It is the world largest religious monument and a masterpiece that showcases the pinnacle of Khmer Art. Its beauty and state of preservation, is unrivaled; its artistic distinctiveness as fine as that of the Taj Mahal. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. Angkor Wat is the centerpiece of any visit to the temples of Angkor. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
DAY 11 Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei – Banteay Samre
Breakfast at the hotel, then excursion to Kbal Spean to 1000 Lingas River carved under current water. Lunch at Banteay Srei Restaurant Late afternoon, you will have a chance to discover the beautiful temples at Banteay Srei or the "Citadel of Women". The reliefs on this unique pink sandstone temple are so delicate that it could only has been carved by the hand of a woman. The relief carvings are so well-preserved, it seems like it was made yesterday. Dinner show at Por Cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 12 Siem Rep – [Flight] – Luang Prabang
Breakfast at the hotel. Free and leisure till departure. Transfer with Driver only to airport for the flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be met by your Local Guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 13 Luang Prabang Full Day City Tour
After breakfast at your hotel we will head off on bicycles to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Cycling on, we are seeing the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. After relaxing at your hotel to let you lunch settle we will pay a late afternoon visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures. You can enjoy a coffee at the center’s café if you chose before our climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. Descanting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. DAY 14 Luang Prabang – Khouangsi Waterfall - Pak Ou Cave
This morning we drive to Khouangsi Waterfall stopping along the way to visit the morning Phousi Market, this where all locals of Luang Prabang come to do their daily shopping. You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos. On arrival at the Khouangsi Waterfall you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. You will also enjoy a Picnic lunch below the falls. Upon return to Luang Prabang we board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. Returning to Luang Prabang we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 15 Luang Prabang Departure
Breakfast at hotel, free and leisure. Hotel check out (12:00) then transfer with driver only to the airport for departure flight.
