DAY 1 Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu meet & assist then transfer to the hotel for check in. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representative. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
DAY 2 Kathmandu – Pokhara
After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Evening enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters. Hire a boat and visit Barahi Temple- situated in the middle of Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 3 Pokhara
Early in the morning excursion to Sarangkot hill for closer Mountain View. It is 20 minutes drive and 20 minutes hike from you hotel. Sarangkot is the most popular viewpoint in Pokhara. Situated at an altitude of 1,592m, Sarangkot offers the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). After enjoying the beauty of nature, return to hotel for breakfast. After Breakfast you will have one hour boating in Phewa Lake and hike to Peace Pagoda from where you can see all the Pokhara valley and beautiful Annapurna Range at a glance. Stay sometime leisurely in the peaceful environment around the Stupa. You will enjoy both hiking and boating today. Evening spend your time walking around the Lakeside. . Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 4 Pokhara Sightseeing
After Breakfast start half day sightseeing at Pokhara’s traditional old bazaar is colorful and is ethnically diverse market, Bindhyabasini Temple dedicated to Goddess, Bhagawati, and another manifestation of Shati., Gupteshower Cave- popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits and Devi’s Fall which comes to its gushing best just before disappearing underground. Later on drive to Begnas Lake, located about 15km from Pokhara. The lake offers the perfect nature retreat because of their relative seclusion. Splendid boating and fishing can be done here. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 5 Pokhara - Chitwan
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan for 4 and half hours – 150 km. You will see very nice sceneries, rivers, farm land, paddy field, typical houses and life style of the people on the way to Chitwan while you drive. All the way you will descend down along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking in to the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our naturalist guide. Then we head on for activities. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner with cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums. Overnight in Chitwan.
DAY 6 Chitwan
Wakeup call with cup of hot tea/coffee. After breakfast on your choice visit to the elephant breading center to see baby elephants with bird watching in river bank, go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the only fish eating Gharial then you will be taken to real nature walk with different type’s vegetation to see many different types of floras and faunas. Before lunch you can take a leisurely relax little while. After lunch go for elephant safari, an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Evening Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Overnight in Chitwan.
DAY 7 Chitwan – Kathmandu sightseeing
Wake up call with hot Coffee/tea. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu for around 5 hours and start full day sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath- World biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage, Patan Durbar Square- which is a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th and Syambhunath- A Monkey Temple from where you can see the magnificent views of Kathmandu Valley and tribute to Buddhism. Rest of the time is free on your own. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 8 Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport for your departure flight back home.
