DAY 1: Milan
Arrival in Milan and meet with English speaking assistant. Transfer to Lake Maggiore, one of Italy’s most popular lakes. Arrival in the region of Stresa.
DAY 2: Lake Maggiore
Depart from the Stresa Pier to the Borromean Islands. Visit Isola Bella with the Borromeo Palace and its beautiful botanical garden. Continue navigation to Isola Madre and visit its exotic garden.
DAY 3: Lake Maggiore
Enjoy your afternoon exploring the area and Stresa.
DAY 4: Lake Maggiore - Lake Garda
Transfer to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, formed by glaciers during the last ice age.
DAY 5: Lake Garda
Enjoy the quaint and truly Mediterranean atmosphere of Lake Garda and its villages and small towns placed right by the shore. Boat excursion to the biggest island on the lake: Isola del Garda.
DAY 6: Lake Garda - Verona - Gardaland
Leave for Verona, Romeo and Juliet’s town. Guided tour of the city’s main attractions: Castelvecchio, Gavi Arch, Borsari Gate, Pietra Bridge and the Roman Theatre. Then you will walk to the Scaligera Arches before reaching Piazza dei Signori, Piazza delle Erbe, Juliet’s house and the world famous Arena, a Roman amphitheatre dating back to 1st Century a.d.. Transfer to Gardaland, the number 1 Amusement Park in Italy and the 5th best amusement park in the world according to American magazine Forbes.
DAY 7: Lake Garda - Milan
Transfer to Milan. The day is at leisure. Some may choose to go for a panoramic tour of this world famous city. Shopping in Milan is exclusive and not to be missed: Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga is where all the great stylists’ shops are located.
DAY 8: Milan
Transfer to the airport.
