DAY 1: DAY 01 Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s ‘Scenic New Zealand’ tour. On to Auckland (flight cost is not included) - “The city of Sails”.
Bon voyage! Today, you are off on your exciting tour of New Zealand. Get set as you board your overnight flight to the most spectacular part of the world, full of adventure, wonderful sights and great shopping opportunity. On arrival at Auckland airport (flight cost is not included), you will be greeted by your friendly and experienced Thomas Cook Tour Manager / Local representative outside the baggage hall. DAY 2: Orientation tour of this pristine City of Sails – Auckland. On to Rotorua – The Thermal city. Today enjoy guided tour of Hobbiton movie set.
After an American breakfast proceed for an orientation Auckland city tour that includes highlights like Harbour Bridge and waterfront drive. Drive past the West Haven Marina, the War Memorial Museum and through the Parnell, onto Bastion Point amongst Auckland’s most expensive residential area and Waite Mata Harbour. Lunch and Next we proceed towards Rotorua. En route get set for fun as you proceed to Matamata to the Hobbiton Movie set, which was a significant location for the “Lord of the Rings” Movie Trilogy and “The Hobbit” film series. Highlight of the tour includes Bagshot Row, Party Tree and Bilbos Bag end home. There are now 44 hobbit holes on view. Next check into the hotel. DAY 3: Enjoy guided tour of Te Puia. See the sheep shearing show at Agrodome followed by a farm tour and Maori Cultural Show.
After an American breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you can wander around the bubbling mud pools and see the famous ‘Pohutu’ Geyser. Also discover Maori art forms, ancient rituals and traditions, experience thrilling song and dance at a traditional Maori Cultural show. Proceed for a quick photo stop at Government Gardens (originally known as Paepaekumana) is a public park partly laid out as gardens. After Indian lunch visit Agrodome which will give you a chance to see through the eyes of a true New Zealand farmer. Witness the Agrodome Sheep shearing Show an exciting and informative insight into the world of New Zealand agriculture, featuring 19 different breeds of sheeps, sheep shearing, cow milking, lamb feeding and dog demonstrations. Later get an experience of the farms on your farm tour. Learn about the farming. Opportunity to take photos and hand feed the animals like Sheep , Cattle, Deers , Llamas and Alpacas. View the kiwi fruit orchard and olives groves, get a chance to taste kiwifruit juice or wine and delicious sweet honey. You also have the chance to indulge in some adventure activities at Agroventure Adventure Park. DAY 4: Onto Auckland. Enroute visit the Waitomo glow worm caves. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of Auckland city from the Sky Tower observatory deck.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to visit the Waitomo Glow-worm Caves in the lush Waikato region. Marvel at Mother Nature’s light display, as you glide silently through the starry wonderland caves of Glow-worm situated underground along the Waitomo River and gaze in silence at the myriad of glow worm lights that make up the Glow-worm Grotto. Enjoy this galaxy of tiny living lights, The Glow-worms that light your way. Enjoy Local Lunch today. Now moving ahead with its unique volcanic landscape, living Maori culture and natural hot springs, Rotorua is one of New Zealand’s most famous destinations. Next enjoy a bird’s eye view of Auckland city from the Sky Tower observatory deck. Tonight a delicious Indian dinner awaits you at a local restaurant. DAY 5: (FLIGHT TO QUEENSTOWN - flight cost is not included) Proceed to Queenstown (flight cost is not included) – New Zealand’s adventure capital. Today visit the Historical Arrowtown and also the worlds first Bungy site A J Hacket Kawarau River, next experience the Gondola ride that gives you the best view of this city.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport to board your flight to Queenstown (flight cost is not included), the adventure capital of New Zealand. On arrival, proceed to the historical small quaint town of Arrowtown. Next we visit A J Hacket Bungy Jump site at the Kawarau River. Optional Bunjy Jumps and Zipline activity available. Lunch will be provided today in Queenstown. Proceed to check in at the hotel. Next experience the famous Gondola ride to Bob’s peak, also a fast convenient access to the best views in the region, which is reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere. DAY 6: Today drive via Te Anau to arrive at Milford Sound to enjoy the most spectacular cruise.
After an early American breakfast, depart from Queenstown and travel via Te Anau through the awe inspiring Homer Tunnel and the stunning glacier-carved Eglington Valley, to arrive at Milford Sound & enjoy the unforgettable Milford Sound cruise, which sails right up to the mouth of the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). Enjoy lunch on board the cruise. Journey into the untouched paradise of Milford Sound and explore the natural wonders and history surrounding this deep fjord. Today you have an option of taking a Helicopter ride with Glacier Landing (Weather permitting) back to Queenstown. Later tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner at a local restaurant. DAY 7: Day is complete free at leisure to explore the many adventure activities in Queenstown.

DAY 8: Proceed to Twizel, Mount Cook Region. Enroute visit Mrs Jones Fruit Orchard and “Puzzling World” at Wanaka.
After American breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Twizel, Mount Cook region. Enroute visit Mrs Jones Fruit Orchards and next visit the Puzzling World at Wanaka, a unique attraction specializing in puzzling eccentricity. Offering the world’s first “modern-styled” Great Maze, incredible Illusion Rooms, and the most eccentric architecture and Oddities, this place is a photographer’s delight. Enjoy lunch. Resume the journey to Mt Cook region. Located in the centre of New Zealand's South Island, Aoraki / Mount Cook Mackenzie is the home to breathtaking landscapes and the kiwi spirit of adventure. Here you get time for optional flight seeing to view mountain range. The flight is within the national parks and has access to some of the most iconic landscapes within New Zealand. DAY 9: Today proceed to Christchurch. Get set to drive through one of the most scenic route in New Zealand. Panoramic city tour of Christchurch.
Today after an American breakfast, travel to picturesque Lake Tekapo and see the iconic Sheep Dog Monument and Church of Good Shepherd. Lake Tekapo is one of the six beautiful lakes in Twizel. Enjoy Indian lunch. Later continue descending the mountain ranges across Canterbury plains to the Garden City - Christchurch. Enjoy a city tour that includes the beautiful Botanical gardens, reconstructed CBD and the new ‘cardboard’ Cathedral, drive past the Art Centre and the Museum. Overnight at Hotel Ibis (3*) or Sudima Airport (3*) or similar, in Christchurch. (B,L,D)
DAY 10: Return home with wonderful memories of your holiday (flight cost is not included).
This morning after an American breakfast / Boxed Breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport (flight cost is not included), where your memorable Thomas Cook tour comes to an end.
